Toyota Tacoma 2005-2015 Double Cab Dual 10″ Sub Box Enclosure Used

Decent value. I was sent the wrong item but it ended up being workable.

To be as unbiased as possible, I'll just share my experience, including the good and the bad. I bought a subwoofer enclosure for my '14 Tacoma double cab. In the Tacoma, it goes behind the seats so it's only visible when they are folded down. Because of this, it didn't have to look completely perfect so I ordered a used box to save about 20%. I normally buy new but it was supposed to be a perfectly functional carpeted box with only possible minor cosmetic issues. I ordered a carpeted one but received a Rhino lined one. While it was not what I wanted and doesn't match the back wall I just carpeted, you don't see it often. The biggest issue was that the holes that had been drilled to mount the woofers were not drilled so the speaker was facing up and down, instead they are at 1 o'clock and whoever removed the screws must have forced them out or overtightened them at some point because there are little protrusions/bumps around each screw hole so my woofer won't sit totally flush and seal perfectly. I've tried to press the bumps down but they won't compress so I ended up having to use a foam gasket to try to fill the gap. The box itself fits perfectly and seems to be nicely made. It is 5/8 and I wish it was 3/4 but it gets the job done and seems sturdy enough. The price was good and shipping was free. The reason I didn't complain about the wrong finish on the box or the bumps where the screws had been pulled out is because I didn't want to deal with trying to ship back such a big item and didn't want to pay for return shipping. Because they sent me the wrong item and one that required an added foam gasket to make it just okay, I'm on the fence about my experience. I definitely wouldn't buy a used box from them again and would be a little hesitant to even buy new because I got the wrong finish and it's not like a little object you can easily return to Amazon or something, it's a huge, fairly heavy box as wide as my truck that would cost a lot to ship back.
