SoundGate VIDHOND1V4 Dual Plug & Play Video Input Device for Honda
SoundGate's VIDHOND1V4 interface allows you to add up to 2 video signals (DVD, VCR, rearview camera, game console, etc.) to the factory navigation systems in some 2001 to 2008 Honda/Acura vehicles. Even though the vehicle may have a screen, this interface will not work unless factory Navigation is present. Works only with two-piece navigation units. Navigation module cannot be part of the radio.
IMPORTANT! The SoundGate VIDHOND1V4 works only when they are equipped with a factory Navigation System with the 12-pin connector at the Nav unit (for 20-pin connectors, please see VIDHOND2V4). See "Does This Fit My Car" or VIDHOND1V4 Instructions for specific applications.
NOTE: The VIDHOND1V4 provides video input only. To input audio signals, you will need an additional interface (sold separately - see VIDHOND1V4 Instructions for more details).
NOTE: SoundGate's VIDHOND1V4 is meant to only display video while the car is parked and stationary. The VIDHOND1V4 is designed with an interlock circuit that shuts off the video signal as soon as the vehicle's emergency brake is released.
