SoundGate VIDFORD1V4 Ford Plug & Play Video Input Device for Ford
SoundGate's VIDFORD1V4 allows you to add up to 2 video signals (DVD, VCR, rear-view camera, game console, etc.) to the factory navigation systems on some 1998 to 2005 Ford vehicles. Even though the vehicle may have a screen, this interface will not work unless factory Navigation is present. Works only with two-piece navigation units. Navigation module cannot be part of the radio. See "Does This Fit My Car" or VIDFORD1V4 Instructions for specific applications.
NOTE: The VIDFORD1V4 provides video input only. To input audio signals, you will need an additional interface (sold separately - see VIDFORD1V4 Instructions for more details).
NOTE: SoundGate's VIDFORD1V4 is meant to only display video while the car is parked and stationary. The VIDFORD1V4 is designed with an interlock circuit that shuts off the video signal as soon as the vehicle's emergency brake is released.
