The 12" subwoofer is the perfect balance between hard-hitting bass and sound quality. The way this subwoofer sounds greatly depends on the subwoofer enclosure you put it in. If you put it in a sealed box you will get more sound quality out of a 12" sub. If you go with a vented sub box you will get more output.
