SoundGate's VIDNISSAN1 interface is for adding video to Nissan and Infiniti vehicles with factory Navigation. Even though the vehicle may have a screen, this interface will not work unless factory Navigation is present. Works only with two-piece navigation units. Navigation module cannot be part of the radio. The VIDNISSAN1 can accept a signal from any video source and route it into the factory Navigation screen. It is important to note that audio is not routed through this device - audio signals must be input into the factory system separately. Additionally, VIDNISSAN1 can accept a second video input from a rear-view backup camera. IMPORTANT! SoundGate's VIDNISS1 is meant to only display video while the car is parked and stationary. The VIDNISSAN1 is designed with an interlock circuit that shuts off the video signal as soon as the vehicle's emergency brake is released.
