The amplifier is a Full Range model which means it can be used to run either subwoofers or mid range speakers such as a component set. The amp is rated at a TRUE 425 Watts RMS and 850 Watts Peak @ 4 Ohm Bridged! The ZX850.2 amp includes a 12 dB octave variable crossover, a 95 dB signal to noise ratio and a remote bass knob to keep the bass at your fingertips! The ZX850.2 amplifier is a Class A/B model amplifier which can be used as either a subwoofer or full range speaker amplifier. In general if running subs the amp works best at a 4 Ohm Bridged Load. In the Full Range mode the amplifier can be ran in a left and right stereo mode.
