For anyone who has home theater system or even just a few separate components, the remote controls for all of those units can be a real hassle. With the Universal Remote (MX600-RFS) it combines all of the remotes into one easy to use universal controller. The Universal remote transfers the commands through an FM signal, so you no longer need to aim the remote at your components. The FM signal can travel through walls and can be used up to 50 to 100 feet away.

The remote includes a control box; this box is the main hub for the unit. The hub will include 6 flashers. These are used to relay commands to your components. The self adhesive flashers will attach in front of each of your components infrared eye. The flashers include a 10 cable which will connect to the MX600-RFS control hub.

The MX-600 is able to control up to 10 components. Each of the 10 components can be programmed with up to 2 pages of LCD screens, plus the 33 hard buttons. MX-600 offers up to 15 potential Macro buttons. Each of these macros can play back up to 20 steps with one touch. For example: a single touch to the ON button could turn on the TV, the surround sound system, and the satellite receiver, then set the TV to the correct video input, the surround system to the right audio settings, and finish by selecting your favorite satellite TV channel.

The controller itself is very user friendly with large oversized buttons, along with a center thumb control which allows for easy adjustments. The Gemstone buttons on the remote have a look and feel that instantly appeals to the customer. Unlike standard rubber buttons, these Gemstone buttons add a very distinguished look to the remote controls that will compliment any high-end system.

RF Capabilites
Radio Frequency (RF) operation provides 50' - 100' range though walls and doors, indoors or outdoors. Self-adhesive "flashers" affix to the infrared sensors on the front panels of your components. The flashers relay commands to components out of sight of the MRF-100's front blaster. The flashers plug in to the MRF-100's rear flasher line outputs via their 10 foot cables. Six flashers are included with each MRF-100.
Controls Up To 10 Components
The MX-600 controls up to 10 components. Each of the 10 components can be programmed with up to 2 pages of LCD screens, plus the 33 hard buttons. The MX-600 allows you to edit the text on each LCD screen exactly as you prefer (up to 26 screens with 10 buttons per screen, for a total of 260 available text buttons and up to 5 characters per button)
Extensive Macro Programming
The powerful memory of the MX-600 offers up to 15 potential Macro buttons. Each of these macros can play back up to 20 steps with one touch. 50 Favorite Channels
The MX-600 allows the user to program up to 50 favorite channels and the LCD screen will display the favorite channels that are programmed. This allows the users to access their favorite channel with one simple button press.
One Hand Ergonomics
The optimized layout of hard buttons enables you to naturally reach both 5-way thumbpad to navigate on-screen menus and the critical Transport, Channel and Volume buttons. You'll quickly discover that you prefer using the MX-600 to control all the special features of your system (especially personal video recorders, satellite receivers, DVD players, surround sound receivers and digital cable boxes). There will never be a reason to dig out old remotes.
EL Back Lighting
The bright backlight using the latest EL technology enables a customer to use both remote control units in a low light environment.
Memory Back-Up
The MX-600 system features a smart memory back-up system that will retain the programmed memory for up to ten years, even with dead batteries.
